We are pleased to announce a special talk delivered by Co-op Legal Services.

Planning ahead can bring peace of mind and help ensure that your wishes are understood and respected. Join estate planning expert David Lea for an entertaining, informative and accessible session exploring some of the key decisions people may wish to consider as they plan for the future.

The talk will cover topics including wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, inheritance planning, protecting your home and savings, and understanding the options available to help safeguard the things and people that matter most to you.

David will explain these subjects in a friendly and straightforward way, helping attendees gain a better understanding of the choices available and the practical steps they may wish to take. The session has been tailored to reflect the diverse experiences, relationships and support networks of the people who use our services.

Whether you are planning for yourself, a partner, family members or close friends, this session will provide useful information to help you make informed decisions and feel more confident about planning ahead.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and find out where to access further information and support.

The session will be delivered by David Lea from Co op Legal Services.

David is an experienced estate planning specialist who regularly delivers community talks on wills, inheritance planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney and related legal matters. His engaging presentations help make complex topics easier to understand and empower people to make informed choices about their future.

The afternoon will begin with a free buffet lunch at 1pm, giving everyone an opportunity to relax, socialise and enjoy a bite to eat before the talk begins at 1.45 pm.

The event is free and open to anyone aged 50 or over. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Getting to Stretford Public Hall

By public transport

By bus – There is a bus stop outside the Hall on Chester Road. It is served by several local routes (79, 253, 255, 256, 263, 272 and 277). Buses to Stockport and south Manchester operate from Stretford Mall nearby.

By rail – The Hall is a short walk from Stretford tram stop.

By car – Free parking is available in the Hall car park on Dorset Street. It has 40 parking spaces, plus 3 dedicated disabled bays.
