Positivity Searching for a cure with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
Have Your Say on HIV Cure Research
Hosted by Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine,
Supported by George House Trust and Sahir House
We’re inviting people living with HIV in Merseyside to join a small, informal discussion about HIV cure research.
This is your chance to share your experiences, ask questions, and help shape future research that could impact our communities.
💬 What to Expect
- A relaxed, supportive group discussion
- Clear, jargon-free explanation of current HIV cure research
- Space to share your thoughts, experiences, hopes, or concerns
- No pressure to speak – participation is completely voluntary
You don’t need any medical or research knowledge—just your lived experience.
🧠 Why This Matters
HIV treatment today works well, but people still need medication for life, and research is ongoing to find a cure.
Researchers want to hear directly from people living with HIV so that future work reflects what actually matters in real life—not just what happens in the lab.
