Visit the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt in Wakefield

Join us for a visit to Wakefield, the first city outside of London to show the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt. 

The Quilt panels were constructed as a community project to encompass the loss of many loved ones during the AIDS crisis...it is a deeply moving, thought provoking experience, well worth a visit.

The organisers have kindly invited us to a private community day along with other charities. . 

We will be going on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 meeting at Manchester Piccadilly station at 9:45am, returning at approximately 6pm.

Access: With accessibility in mind, the gallery is on Ground floor level with flat access.

Tickets for this event will be on a 'first come first served' basis so please register as soon as possible.

A confirmation email will be sent if you have a place on the visit.
