Ageing Well: Knit and Natter

Ageing Well: Knit and Natter

Monday 1st June 2026 | 10am to 12pm

Training Room, George House Trust 77 Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FX

Join us for our June Knit and Natter, starting at 10am so we can enjoy the lighter and warmer summer mornings.

Our sessions are open to anyone aged 50 and over, whether you are completely new to knitting or crochet or have years of experience.

Settle in for a relaxed and friendly morning with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and fresh fruit. Enjoy chatting, sharing tips, and spending time together. If you would like to try knitting or crochet, all materials are provided.

We will also head out for a gentle Wellbeing Walk around Ardwick Green, making the most of the brighter days, with umbrellas nearby just in case. You will collect points during the session that go towards a useful healthy prize.

A warm and welcoming space to unwind, connect, and get creative.

Sessions are free, and travel expenses are reimbursed.

PLEASE NOTE:  We know that life can get in the way and plans can change, so we're asking that if you book to attend one of our events and your no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@ght.org.uk or telephone us to let us know, as this means we can offer your place to someone who is able to make it along.
