Ageing Well: Knit and Natter
Ageing Well: Knit and Natter
Monday 11th May 2026 | 10am–12pm | Training Room - George House Trust, 77 Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FX
Join us for our May Knit and Natter. Now starting earlier at 10am as we enjoy the brighter spring mornings.
Our Knit and Natter sessions at George House Trust are open to anyone aged 50 and over, whether you’re completely new to knitting or crochet or have years of experience.
Settle in for a relaxed and friendly morning from 10am to 12pm, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and fresh fruit. Enjoy chatting, sharing tips, and spending time together. All materials are provided if you’d like to give knitting or crochet a try.
We’ll also head out for a gentle Wellbeing Walk around Ardwick Green, making the most of the lighter days, umbrellas still at the ready, just in case. You’ll collect points during the session, which go towards a useful healthy prize.
Sessions are free, and travel expenses are reimbursed.
