Ageing Well Information Session for Social Workers

Ageing Well offers support to people aged 50+ who are living with HIV in Greater Manchester and Liverpool.

HIV has changed. Thanks to the fantastic advances in medication, care and understanding, people can live a normal lifespan with HIV, yet we continue to see the start realities faced by people living with HIV.

Whilst almost 50% of people living with HIV are 50 or over, when faced with often numerous co-morbidities, depravation and poverty, these same people are often the most marginalised in society. There are many barriers to accessing support, both in terms of daily living and health care.

Ageing Well would love to tell you about what we do and how you can best support someone living with HIV.
