Ageing Well visit to Hebden Bridge
Join us as we discover the beautiful Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge.
Hebden Bridge is a market town in the Calderdale district of West Yorkshire, England. It is in the Upper Calder Valley, 8 miles (13 km) west of Halifax and 14 miles (21 km) north-east of Rochdale.
See its picturesque river, marvel at the canal boats and wander around it's plentiful offering of independent shops and cafes.
During our visit, we will enjoy a drink with Karen Bennett from Community Rail Lancashire, who is compiling stories of railway journeys to publish in a book. 200 Stories of Railway Pride will feature tales of railway careers, your favourite journeys, a journey to a Pride celebration or an international adventure perhaps.
We will meet at 10.30am outside Costa Coffee in Manchester Victoria station and travel to Hebden Bridge by train. There'll be ample time for exploring the town.
This event is free to attend. Travel expenses can be reimbursed in line with our policy.
