Acting Up! 40 Years of HIV Activism - a book commemorating the 40th anniversary of George House Trust has launched. It’s no ordinary book; it’s a commemorative book created to close the chapter on George House Trust’s 40th anniversary year. Acting Up! 40 Years of HIV Activism was both the title of our anniversary project and the book itself. Seeing George House Trust’s story in print is truly humbling. It highlights the extraordinary contribution of so many colleagues, past and present, alongside the dedication of volunteers and everyone who has shaped George House Trust’s story over the last 41 years.

Whilst a book helps us to honour our shared history, it also serves as a stark reminder that our work is not finished, it doesn’t pause, and it certainly isn’t consigned to the past. We are living in uncertain times, and that makes one thing abundantly clear: regardless of the progress made in HIV prevention, treatment, and rights, we’ve all got to ensure that we continue working for a world where HIV holds no one back.
