Greater Manchester Fast Track Cities World AIDS Day Briefing 2025
Co-Chairs of Fast Track Cities Greater Manchester, Doctor Orla McQuillan and Darren Knight are pleased to share the Fast Track Cities Greater Manchester - World AIDS Day Briefing 2025. They hope that you agree it’s a powerful reflection of the dedication, compassion and determination driving our coalition of the willing.
What you’ll read in the briefing is a snapshot. Behind every number and every project are people whose lives have been changed because of the commitment you bring. There’s also far more happening across Greater Manchester than we could ever capture in a single briefing, which is definitely something to celebrate!
Thank you to everyone who’s contributed to creating this overview and thanks to all of you who show up every day to tackle inequality, challenge HIV stigma and push for better outcomes for people living with HIV and the communities most impacted by HIV.
World AIDS Day on the 1st December offers us a moment to stop and reflect on the journey we’re on together. But the truth is that the movement doesn’t pause. The energy, care and pure effort that define Greater Manchester’s HIV response continues every single day; in clinics, in communities, in conversations and in every act of solidarity and support.
So, thank you for your passion, your perseverance and your belief in what we can achieve together. We’re looking forward to seeing how we drive the new HIV Action Plan locally, with your support and dedication – WATCH THIS SPACE!
Please share the attached briefing widely with your colleagues and networks and let it serve as a reminder of the change you’re making.
