LGBTQ+ Day Trip to The Lakes
LGBTQ+ Day Trip to The Lakes (Limited places available)
Embark on an unforgettable journey from Manchester to the heart of one of England’s most beloved natural treasures — the Lake District National Park. Let yourself be swept away by stunning scenery, tranquil waters, and the timeless charm that has captivated writers, poets and painters for centuries such as Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.
As we depart the city and we'll head northward, the urban landscape slowly melts into rolling hills and serene pastures. Our first stop will be a traditional Lake District village, you’ll have time to wander through the area, browse quaint shops, sip tea in cosy cafés, and take in the views.
Time for your cruise, marvel at the panoramic views of rolling hills, wooded shores, and distant peaks as you glide through one of Britain’s most iconic landscapes.
Join your driver-guide at the Pier, and journey along meandering country lanes to Tarn Hows — a peaceful beauty spot once preserved by Beatrix Potter. With its still waters and breath-taking views, it’s a perfect moment of serenity. This secluded spot, once lovingly preserved by Beatrix Potter, is a photographer’s and poet’s paradise.
Stroll through the storybook village of Hawkshead, where time seems to stand still. Cobbled streets, whitewashed cottages, and the spirit of literary legends like Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth await.
This immersive day offers not only breath-taking scenery but also rich cultural insights from your expert guide. Whether gliding across tranquil waters or exploring timeless villages, you’ll find yourself deeply connected to the soul of the Lake District.
