WORLD AIDS DAY 2019

1st DECEMBER IS WORLD AIDS DAY

We are currently busy planning for World AIDS Day with our PaSH partners.

The global theme of this year’s World AIDS Day is ‘Communities make the difference’.

The World AIDS Day Vigil will be held in Sackville Gardens on Sunday December 1st starting at 6pm.

We will be out in force with collecting tins on the streets of Manchester over the World AIDS day weekend.  We need lots of volunteers to help raise as much money as we can, so if you would like to volunteer to help with street collections over the weekend, please contact rachel@ght.org.uk

Our plans for exhibiting panels from the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt in Manchester and each of the Greater Manchester boroughs are coming together.  We’re delighted that a number of venues have already agreed to display a panel in the week running up to World AIDS Day.  Details of all the venues taking part as well as details of the proposed launch event will be on the George House Trust website as soon as they have been finalised.
