Following diagnosis some people go off sex for a while, but living with HIV should not get in the way of a healthy and enjoyable sex life.

Condoms, when used correctly, prevent the transmission of HIV.  As well as condoms, it is well documented that people living with HIV who are on treatments and have an undetectable viral load are much less likely to pass on HIV than someone who is undiagnosed.  If you want to have children, you should know that over 99% of babies born to a HIV positive mother in the UK are born without HIV.
