Starting her career as a nurse, Sharon worked in senior commissioning and system leadership roles before joining Bolton NHS Foundation Trust as the Director of Strategy and Transformation.

Sharon’s role on the Bolton NHS FT Board is to work with Commissioners, Primary, Social Care and the Voluntary Sector to enable the development and delivery of the Trust’s Strategy and Transformation Plans. She is also responsible for the Trusts Digital and Communication and Engagement function and the Trusts Charity.

Sharon wants to bring her experience of working in the NHS to her role as Trustee for George House Trust, supporting the amazing work the charity does to improve the health and wellbeing of the HIV community so people can live healthy lives, free from stigma.
