Art at The Whitworth with Lotte Karlsen

After the summer break, we are back for another workshop at the Whitworth.  This month the session will be run by Manchester based artist Lotte Karlsen,  and  we will be making tropical paper flowers, inspired by the current exhibition of works by Santiago Yahuarcani.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all materials are provided.

Founded in 1889 as the first English gallery in a park, the Whitworth has been transformed by a £15 million development which doubled the public space, creating new facilities to house the collection of over 55,000 works of art, textiles and wallpaper.

This event is free and we can reimburse travel expenses on the day.
