This training is for any women who have either been diagnosed HIV positive in pregnancy or have had a baby after diagnosis.
The workshops aim to enhance your knowledge and skills around preconception planning, pregnancy, delivery and aftercare. Following training you will become a George House Trust peer mentor, supporting up to 5 women who are planning to conceive or are newly pregnant.
The Salamander Trust has been funded by the MAC AIDS Fund to deliver training to women living with HIV to become ‘Mentor Mothers’. We are delighted to be involved in this project and welcome Angelina Namiba and Neil Osborne who will facilitate this 2 day training (the second training session is held on 14th April)
Participants must be able to attend both full day workshops. Lunch will be provided and travel expenses reimbursed on production of a valid ticket. If you need childcare expenses, or have any further queries please contact Jill in advance of the course at jill@ght.org.uk
