Join Us in Celebrating National Black History Month!
Black History Month is an annual event that celebrates the cultures, influences, and achievements of Black communities.
This year’s theme is “Reclaiming Narratives” recognising and correcting the stories of Black history and culture. By highlighting these alternative stories and history of Black communities, we ensure they are heard and their contributions celebrated.
The event will feature a panel discussion, music, singing, food, and a fashion parade.
Feel free to come in your traditional attire, a prize will be awarded to the best dressed person at the event.
It will be an excellent opportunity to learn about African and Caribbean culture and legacy as well as meeting other people living with HIV.
Hot food and light refreshments will be available. We can reimburse travel expenses on the day.
You will need to register to attend this event. If you have any questions or access requirements contact Adela or Jeff.
