Each month we try a new art form with a local artist. In the past we have tried our hand at pottery, wallpaper printing and bunting making. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all materials are provided.
Founded in 1889 as the first English gallery in a park, the Whitworth has been transformed by a £15 million development which doubled the public space, creating new facilities to house the collection of over 55,000 works of art, textiles and wallpaper. Along with expanded gallery spaces, a study centre, learning studio and collections care centre, the gallery has reconnected with its park, communal gardens and outdoor programmes.
You will need to register to attend this event.
