We are recruiting two part-time Peer Navigators who will be working within HIV clinics in Greater Manchester. We’re looking for individuals who are living with HIV to use their own experiences to provide advice, information, and support, enabling people with HIV to live happy, healthy lives. Peer Navigators will be supporting people newly diagnosed or re-engaged via Emergency Departments, as well as people with unmet psychosocial needs. 

If you’re passionate about the difference that peer-led support can make to people’s lives, have excellent organisational and communication skills and are confident working with a diverse range of staff and people living with HIV, we’d love to hear from you.

Role information

Position 1: Peer Navigator - primary location in Bury and North Manchester General Hospital [14 hours, 0.4 FTE, actual salary £10,734]

Position 2: Peer Navigator - primary location in Oldham and North Manchester General Hospital [14 hours, 0.4 FTE, actual salary £10,734 ]

Location/Flexibility: Successful postholders will be asked to have a flexible approach to working across HIV clinics in Greater Manchester.
