Andrew's Pride Story

"Growing up I always knew I was different. I was 8 years old when I realised, I liked boys. Little did I know, my primary school and high school years would be hell because of that discovery. My truth brought with it a lot of bullying and hate. That pain gave me the strength I needed to stand loud and proud. 

Learning to love myself and continue living in the face of ignorance, stigma and adversity will always be one of my greatest achievements. 

I’m proud to call myself a role model within the queer community. Shining my light in dark places and giving those around me strength to continue being themselves.
