Job Title: Services Adviser
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: NJC scales SCP 26-31 £23,166 - £27,394
We are currently looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Services Adviser. This post is offered on a 35 hours per week permanent contract basis.
Working as part of the services team, you will deliver high quality one to one support, advice and information to people living with HIV and contribute to the development of responsive and relevant services.
The post holder will be employed by George House Trust but will work as part of the ‘Passionate about Sexual Health’ (PaSH) Partnership. The PaSH Partnership comprises George House Trust, BHA for Equality and LGBT Foundation, together delivering Greater Manchester’s Sexual Health Improvement Programme.
You will need an excellent understanding of HIV and an awareness of current issues related to it. You must have robust experience of working with people with complex needs and be a confident advocate.
