PROJECT COORDINATOR AGE+ PROJECT

Job Vacancy – Project Coordinator Age+ Project

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £24,982 per annum

Contract: 15 months fixed term contract

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to lead our Age+ project for people living with HIV and over the age of 55.

An ever-growing ageing population of people living with HIV means that support services will need to change and adapt to ensure that they remain relevant.

Services provided within the Age+ project will include informal social networking opportunities, skills-based training sessions, new volunteering opportunities and one to one support – either online or in person.

Alongside these services, a key element of the project will be meaningful engagement with residential care homes, social care providers and other organisations in contact with, or supporting, older people to deliver HIV awareness training and awareness sessions either online or in person.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading on all aspects of the project.

We are looking to recruit someone with project management experience, knowledge and understanding about HIV and ageing with HIV, and a commitment to challenging HIV stigma.

Details of how to apply for this role along with a full job description and person specification, can be found here.

Deadline for applications is 9:00am on Monday February 1st, 2021.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place on Friday February 12th, 2021.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check commensurate with the role.

Please note that, because of current Covid 19 restrictions and guidelines it is anticipated that much of this work will be delivered online and by phone until such time as restrictions are eased.
