Ageing Well: Join Us for a Tour of Acting Up! – 40 Years of HIV Activism

Ageing Well: Special Exhibition Tour of Acting Up! – 40 Years of HIV Activism

Wednesday 19th November | 4:40–6:30pm | Manchester Central Library, St Peters Square, M2 5PD

Join George House Trust and The Proud Trust for a special collaborative event ahead of World AIDS Day. Enjoy a guided tour of Acting Up! 40 Years of HIV Activism with the exhibition’s original curator, Joanne Rosenthal, as we explore the history, stories, and impact of HIV activism over the past four decades.

We’ll also hear from positive speakers from George House Trust, who will share personal experiences to bring the exhibition’s themes to life.

The afternoon will finish with refreshments in the library café — a chance to relax, connect, and reflect together.

The event is free and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Register online to attend, as spaces will be limited.
